I speak for Truth. Love is the way. But love is not devoid of suffering, wrath, and reality.
Exhausted, sick, lonely, weary, sometimes fearful, pained, and grieving. That’s why it’s called war, I guess.
I pick up a sword. This does me no good lest it’s ultimate wielder is God. His Word is my Sword. My shield is my faith. My faith is a gift from God.
The enemy does not normally cease attack, not often at least. The closer I get to God, in fact, it seems it just gets worse.
Is it mental disability or disease? I think rather it’s mental warfare, spiritual warfare. Demons are at work.
But praise God we do not wield worldly weapons.
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.
2 Corinthians 10:3-6
This world can often be tiring, and battle does rage, but we are not alone. We are not defenseless. Satan may accuse us, but Christ defends us every time. John writes in Revelation 12:10-11,
And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, ‘Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
And right now I want revival, and I have prayed for it.
I want a revival like we have never seen in the United States of America.
I want a revival of warring Christians proclaiming the truth of the Gospel. Not the watered-down, sugar-coated Gospel. Not the Gospel of heretics. Not the Gospel of modern-day Pharisees. Not the Gospel of Prosperity Gospel preachers.
The one true Gospel, the Gospel of Christ Jesus as recorded and written about in the holy and inspired Word of God.
When I say I want revival, I mean I want people falling on their knees literally and weeping before the Lord.

I want people who cry out, “I am wicked and deserving of death. What am I to do?”
I want preachers who proclaim and pronounce the wickedness of men and the dangers of the fires of Hell. I want preachers who say not only, “Christ died for you,” but also, “You deserve death.”
We listen to self-help books, podcasts, bloggers, politicians, professors, and motivational speakers rather than the Word of God. We follow modern thought rather than God’s instructions.
If this is war, it seems like Christianity is losing in the West. Yet God has already won the battle and chosen His elect.
Paul says,
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
2 Timothy 4:1-5
Take up your sword, hold up your shield.
Jesus told Peter,
And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Matthew 16:18
If you feel like you’re losing, don’t lose hope. If you feel like you’ve been shot in this war and no one can or will help, hold on. This isn’t the end.
John says,
I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for his name’s sake.I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, children, because you know the Father.I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
1 John 2:12-14
Stand firm, brothers and sisters, and fight. The Enemy will not win in the end.
If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31b
Revival starts with us. So, go.
Go and make disciples, go love people, go declare the truth, go be insulted and hated by the world for preaching God’s Word, go and live a life the world may despise. Whatever it is.
Go and follow Christ.
To God be the glory and honor and power forever and ever. Amen.
